[ For Matt, it's a deep, dreamless sleep, the kind where all the exhaustion he's been avoiding catches up all at once, and it's almost a wonder the sound of the alarm even reaches him, brief as it was. He squeezes his eyes a little tighter, trying to resist the urge to open them, wanting to pretend he's still asleep for a little. Which is easy enough. His eyes are ridiculously heavy, and the shared warmth is so comfortable and relaxing he's not actually sure he could get up if he wanted to. But it's probably obvious that he's awake by the way he shifts when Shiro's breath hits his skin, and exhales, soft and content. ]
Maybe if we just stay here they won't actually miss us.
